strong in numbers, interconnected, have no interest in maintaining the status
quo and they also want to shape a better future. In many parts of
the world, proof that young people as actors in the forefront of the anti
graft movements can be found.
Young people aged 13-25 have led
large anti-corruption demonstrations, from Venezuela, Brazil, Russia, to

fight for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and demand the
completion of mega-corruption cases including that of the e-ID card.

spread online petitions. Messages about the demonstrations are shared via

Jakarta as a Bad Working Place for Expatriates
Jakarta is the second-worst place for expatriates to work in, outside of the
United States of America, Canada, and Western Europe. It is according to a
recent report published by Businessweek.
The Businessweek report ranked emerging markets that might be challenging to
move into due to their level of pollution, disease, political violence, and
availability of goods and services.
The report ranked Jakarta second, just below Lagos in Nigeria and above
Riyadh Saudi Arabia, saying the threat of violence from extremists, in
particular, was serious drawback to living in Jakarta. Bombing targeting
foreign interests in Jakarta, such as the JW Marriot Hotel bombing in 2003,
have been repeated elsewhere in the city.
The report said despite problem common to many developing cities such as the
risk of disease, poor sanitation, and excessive pollution, Indonesia can be
an enticing location.
In response, the Jakarta administration took the report positively, saying it
could spur the administration to improve its performance.

Questions number 23-26 based on the following
text!
Do you know how your body gets oxygen from the air and removes carbon dioxide
from your body? Right! It’s because of the respiratory system. Do you know
how it works? The following explanation is written to help you understand the
process clearly.
The first phase of respiration is breathing in or inhalation. This process
brings air from outside the body into the lungs. From the lungs, the oxygen
moves through blood vessels to the heart which then pumps the oxygen-rich
blood to all parts of the body. Oxygen then moves from the blood-stream into
the cells, which completes the first phase of respiration. In the cells,
oxygen is used in a separate energy-producing process which produces carbon
dioxide as a byproduct.
The second phase of respiration begins when the carbon dioxide moves from the
cells to the bloodstream which carries carbon dioxide to the heart. Then, it
pumps the carbon dioxide-laden blood to the lungs. In the lungs, breathing
out or exhalation removes carbon dioxide from the body, thus completing the
respiration cycle.
